Role

We are on a mission to have the best ads in our industry. To lead this charge, we are looking for a Senior Creative Director who is profoundly knowledgeable and passionate about creating high-conventional ads on social platforms. 

The Senior Creative Director will build and lead the team to success. The team may include copywriters, videographers, producers, and editors. Experience in direct-response marketing, copywriting, and storytelling is critical for success in this role. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the creative team to produce world-class ad creatives across all digital marketing platforms.
  • Develop a creative strategy that drives substantial business growth and maximizes the return of our advertising budget.
  • Produce fresh and attention-grabbing ideas that will be turned into viral ad campaigns.
  • Work with the creative team to consistently turn ideas and concepts into attention-grabbing and successful ad campaigns.
  • Train and mentor a team of direct response copywriters to write hooks and ad scripts through storytelling that convert into leads and sales. 
  • Develop and manage our recruiting process for finding exceptional talent to be spokespeople in our ads.
  • Implement A/B tests to improve ad creatives and performance constantly.
  • Collaborate with paid media, compliance team, and other departments to realize the larger vision of the marketing department and company.
  • Oversee the ad creation process from start to finish, guaranteeing deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Results

  • Performance will be gauged on metrics like CPA, ROAS, CTR, and overall revenue and profitability of ad campaigns. Here are the results we expect out of this role.
  • Viral Ads: The goal is to consistently create best-in-industry ads that convert viewers into buyers and get the attention of millions of people online.
  • Decrease in CPA: The better the ad creatives we run, the lower the cost to acquire customers. This is a major driving force for scaling the business.
  • Increase in Revenue & Profitability: The better our advertising campaigns perform, the more we can afford to spend on advertising, which leads to substantial growth in revenue and profitability for the company.
  • Ad Production Factory: We should be an ad production factory consistently delivering world-class ad creatives to the media buying team.
  • Hitting Deadlines & Budgets: All deliverables should be completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in a creative leadership role focusing on direct response marketing.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team to achieve their goals. Experience leading a team of at least 5 is essential.
  • A portfolio demonstrated success in paid media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, TV, etc.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker to develop creative and unique angles and ideas.
  • Ability to dissect and use data to shape creative strategy & optimization.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate within and across teams.
  • Proven ability to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, infusing fresh ideas into our advertising strategies.
  • Travel within the U.S. approximately 4-6x per year for video shoots.

Salary 

  • $130-$150k Base + Bonus
