RESPONSIBILITIES

MARKETING DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT - Oversee marketing department. Evaluate and develop our marketing strategy and annual marketing calendar in partnership with our founder, Hunter. Plan, direct, and communicate all marketing efforts with our internal and external marketing team members.

MARKETING BUDGET MANAGEMENT – Develop and manage annual $2MM+ marketing department budget and track expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment, and profit-loss projections.

PROMOTIONAL PLANNING – Develop and manage promotional plans for our various initiatives throughout the year including live events (2-3 per year), online summits (2-3 per year), webinars, and any special promotions. Today this includes email marketing, social media marketing, affiliate marketing, direct mail/gifting, and paid advertising.

MARKETING SYSTEMS & PROCESSES - Create, document, and iterate on the systems and processes that the marketing team uses. Our highest priority right now is to create a marketing project management process that builds in more lead time, has clearer ownership across tasks, and more visibility into workload across the team – which will lead to more time for the content development, creative, and copywriting processes, and ultimately, even better results.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT – Work with Hunter to create a content strategy, and project manage the content development process for all marketing initiatives - ex. podcasts, live events, etc. If working with outside speakers, this includes working with our Administrative Assistant to create and implement a speaker management process – you collectively create the process, and the Administrative Assistant will execute, while you ensure things stay on track and that the content that is submitted is top notch.

BRAND MANAGEMENT – Keep an eye on all of the content we are putting out across all platforms and ensure the brand’s visual identity and messaging is always elevated and consistent. Work with our Graphic Designer to create a theme and creative look & feel for each of our initiatives.

METRICS & DATA ANALYSIS - While we are currently achieving excellent marketing ROI, we need a much more robust data analytics process. You’ll be responsible for creating that process and monitoring our marketing metrics on a regular basis so that we can optimize our initiatives and get even better ROI.

MARKET RESEARCH & NEW INITIATIVES – Monitor what strategies are working for other coaching and investment businesses, find ways to model those strategies, and work with Hunter to incorporate into the overall marketing strategy. Many of these initiatives will be based on strategies outlined in Russell Brunson’s books and community.
