ROLE:
This role will be directly working for a Portfolio Company. The Sales Director role is pivotal in steering our High Ticket Closing operations towards excellence. This role demands visionary leadership intertwined with actionable strategy. Tasked with harmonizing team efforts, refining sales methods, and nurturing client relationships, the Sales Director also ensures optimal team performance and fosters a culture of unity and motivation.
As the Sales Director, you'll not only oversee the performance and development of our High Ticket Closing team but also manage Sales Development Representatives and Lead Nurture Specialists.
The Director, in close coordination with the company's executive team, will establish sales targets, devise sales strategies, analyze performance data, oversee training, mentor the sales team, and provide overall sales team management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Leadership & Motivation: Oversee and mentor the High Ticket Closing team, ensuring alignment towards common objectives, fostering unity, and motivating members through effective incentive schemes and acknowledgment of their achievements.
- Strategic Development & Client Relations: Design strategies that enhance closing rates while bolstering client satisfaction. Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to ensure relevant and up-to-date service offerings.
- Client Nurturing & Conversion: Create a robust follow-up system for potential clients who didn't initially enroll, aiming for maximum conversion.
- Performance Management: Monitor team metrics, ensuring adherence to organizational expectations, rewarding high performers, and addressing underperformance with patience and strategic interventions.
- Training & Staffing: Coordinate with company founders for continuous training and professional development. Forecast recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training needs, ensuring teams are adequately staffed and trained up.
- Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team for lead generation plans and ensure effective collaboration between Sales and Marketing Teams.
RESULTS:
- Achieve and maintain an overall closing rate of 30%+ or higher.
- Ensure a steady increase in client enrollment numbers quarter-on-quarter.
- Daily and Weekly report of total sales activity for entire Sales team is filled out and presented to Executive Team
- Each member of the sales team meets KPI benchmarks, and is properly coached if not or redeployed.
- Company values and culture are maintained and reflected by all on sales team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Sales Director, ideally in the high ticket ($10K+) coaching/training, informational product or franchising sectors.
- Team Scaling & Management - Demonstrated experience in scaling small sales teams, implementing sales operational infrastructure and ensuring optimal team performance and cohesion.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Any relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to drive the sales pipeline process from plan to close, excellent mentoring, and leadership skills. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Technological & Data Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (ActiveCampaign, Hubspot) and comfortable analyzing sales metrics at a granular level.
- Personal Traits: Highly motivated with a proven track record in sales and a growth mindset. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
SALARY:
- $180,000 to 210,000 OTE
