Terms and Conditions for Acquistion.com Scaling Workshop Events

The terms and conditions incorporate the Terms of Purchase, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for Acquisition.com Scaling Workshop Events are listed here: By registering for or attending any Acquistion.com event, you agree to comply with these terms. 

To enter an Event, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older unless otherwise specified for a particular event. No one is permitted entry without confirmed reservation and valid photo identification.

You must have one of the following forms of approved identification to enter the Event. No exceptions will be made, even if you are accompanied by an adult or a person with valid identification. Failure to provide valid identification shall preclude you from entering the Event and you shall not be entitled to any refund, nor will you be entitled to, or will the Company be liable for, any other damages, including, but not limited to, incidental and/or consequential damages.

In addition, during the Event, you must be able to provide valid identification if requested by a member of security or staff. If you are not able to show a valid identification, you may be subject to removal from the Event and you shall not receive a refund.

The following original forms of identification are acceptable and your name must appear in your registration details exactly how it appears on your identification:

•           Government-Issued Passport with Photo
•           Government Driver’s License with Photo (U.S. or Canada)
•           Military Identification Card with Photo; or
•           Government-Issued Identification Card with Photo

No other forms of identification will be accepted.

Payment & Registration

Full payment is due at the time you sign up for any Acquistion.com Scaling Workshop Event. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Registration for the Event is required. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as Scaling Workshop Event spots are made available or at the sole discretion of the Acquisition.com team. Transportation, lodging and food costs are not included.

Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds 

If an Event cancellation occurs, registered participants will receive a full refund within 60 days of said cancellation. 

If any Event is postponed, registration for impacted attendees will transfer to the next available Event date. 

You may transfer your registered Event date one (1) time within 6 months of the original Event purchase date. In order to transfer, you must notify us in writing at Workshops@acquisition.com within 30 days of the upcoming Event. Preferred transfer Event date transfers are subject to availability and we make no guarantees. There is a one-time transfer fee of $100.00. Please note that transfer requests within 72 hours of the registered workshop date will not be accepted. 

Exclusions do apply: Changes within 72 hours of the workshop date can only be made in the event of travel-related issues such as VISA problems, flight delays or cancellations or illnesses.

We will offer a 36-hour grace period after the initial Event purchase where no transfer fee will be incurred if the Participant chooses to transfer their date within that time frame. If an acceptable accommodation to you cannot be made as it relates to a transfer, then there will be no refund available.  

There are no refunds for any Acquisition.com Workshop Event purchases. All ticket purchases are subject to availability without exception. Receipt of a confirmation of a ticket purchase does not guarantee that a seat will be reserved at the Event should an Event be sold out. Acquisition.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change, move, refund, rollover or issue an Event credit at any time if an event is sold out or close to full capacity.

Event Changes

The Event Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Event schedule, speakers, or program at any time without prior notice.

The Event Organizer is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants as a result of such changes.

Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner towards all Event staff, speakers, and fellow participants. 

The Acquisition.com team operates on three non-negotiable core values:

2. Sincere candor
3. Unimpeachable character 

At the sole discretion of Acquistion.com personnel, any participant who is deemed to exhibit disruptive or inappropriate behavior that conflicts with these core values may be asked to leave the Event premises without a refund.

Additionally, we ask that all Participants refrain from the following activities during the Event:

• Pictures, videos or recordings of speakers 
• Using laptops, phones or electronic devices during speakers or breakout sessions

VAM Event Delivery Responsibilities  

Responsibilities of the Provider: Provider shall

• Provide VAM workshop dates on a first come, first served basis. Provider will make good faith efforts to match workshop dates to Client’s availability, but does not guarantee access to specific dates
• Provide necessary support during the annual workshop event
• Provide necessary support from Workshop Concierge team before and after bi-annual workshop events

Responsibilities of the Client: Client shall

• Confirm first VAM workshop date within thirty (30) days of Agreement purchase to Workshop Concierge Team 
• Confirm second VAM workshop date with Acquisition.com events or Workshop Concierge Team within 30 days of the end of the first VAM workshop 
• Client is expected to complete all “pre-work” exercises at least two (2) weeks prior to the their scheduled VAM Day
• Adhere to all terms of service for VAM workshop outlined in Section 3 of the VAM contract Agreement
• Make timely payments as outlined in section 3 of the VAM contract Agreement

VAM Event Payment Terms 

Client agrees to pay Provider the agreed-upon annual, recurring fee per their signed VAM Agreement. This payment is inclusive of any deposits Client has paid in advance. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of the Effective Date unless specific payment terms are otherwise defined between Client and Provider. Late payments may incur a late fee of 5% interest per month and are subject to cancellation of Agreement. 

For each renewal period, Provider may make adjustments in price and services from time to time.  If Client has not given written notice to terminate the Agreement, client hereby accepts any changes in price or services offered, if applicable. Please refer to your Agreement for more details on payment dates, recurring payment details and information on cancellation. 

It is hereby understood by Client there are NO REFUNDS offered by Provider and the services governed by this Agreement and there are NO GUARANTEES related to performance satisfaction or improved results as a result of this Service.

Copyright and Confidentiality Notice 

The materials and resources are the confidential and exclusive copyright and proprietary intellectual property of Acquisition.com, LLC. These materials are provided to you by Acquisition.com, LLC and solely intended for your personal use as an Acquisition.com LLC’s Scaling Workshop attendee. 

No part of these documents and/or resources can be stored, reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means (electronic, photographic, mechanical, or any other medium), recorded, translated, or used to produce any derivative works without the explicit written permission of Acquisition.com, LLC, under signature by a person authorized by Aquisition.com, LLC. Any violation or display of the likelihood of violating, any of your agreements contained in this paragraph, entitles Acquisition.com, LLC to injunctive relief to prohibit any such violations.

Liability and Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand and agree that in participating in this Event that there could be a possibility of physical injury. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to me or during the Event.  There is no warranty or representation that the facility and services will not provide any physical or otherwise harm and you hold harmless Acquisition.com and all of its affiliates and representatives. 

 I also exempt, release, and indemnify Acquisition.com, LLC, its owners, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, etc. from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of actions whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, to me, in connection with participation in this event offered by Acquisition.com, LLC.

I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them.

General Earnings 

In consideration of my approved attendance at Acquisition.com’s Scaling Workshop and/or VAM Days, I hereby acknowledge:

I understand that there can be no assurance that any prior successes, or past results in income earnings, can be used as an indication of my future success or results. I acknowledge monetary and income results are based on many factors. 

Acquisition.com, LLC does not guarantee or imply that I will profit, or that I will make any money at all. Acquisition.com, LLC’s products and business advice may have unknown risks involved and are not suitable for everyone. Making decisions based on any information presented in Acquisition.com, LLC’s products, services, or website, should be done only with the knowledge that you could make no money at all, all products and services by Acquisition.com, LLC are for educational and informational purposes only. 

I agree that I am solely responsible for doing my own due diligence when it comes to making business decisions and all information, products, and services that have been provided should be independently verified by my own qualified professionals before acting on this or any information. Acquisition.com, LLC’s information, products, and services should be carefully considered and evaluated, before reaching a business decision, on whether to rely on them.  I agree that Acquisition.com, LLC is not responsible for the success or failure of my business decisions relating to any information presented by Acquisition.com, LLC or Acquisition.com, LLC products or services or employees.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nevada. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nevada.
