Nobody’s coming to save you.
- Age 15
First job: Subway sandwich artist in Portage, Michigan. Quits over a voicemail from her boss, and learns who she will work for.
- Age 18
Arrested six times in 18 months. Wakes up at her parents’ house with the arrest record on her bed. Her dad: “I’m just really afraid you’re going to die.”
- Age 19
Cuts off the friends who party, moves out on her own, gets back in the gym, and fills the spare hours with Tony Robbins and Jim Rohn tapes. “Nobody’s coming to save you.”
Learning by selling.
- Age 21
Takes the hardest internship she can find: a top wellness resort, on site, up at 5am, teaching classes all day. “That taught me what hard work feels like.”
- 2015
Drives to California the day after graduating, walks into gyms, and takes a commission-only sales job. Four weeks to prove she can sell.
- Within a year
Top-selling personal trainer in her region. Meets Alex, who already has six gyms.
A business nobody planned.
- Age 23
Starts Gym Launch with Alex. Flies out to gyms, runs the marketing and sales herself, and hands the customers back to the owner.
- Then
A wave of chargebacks puts them $250,000 in the hole. The pivot: sell the playbook instead of flying out. Eight gym owners say yes in one day. $42,000.
- Year two
$27 million in revenue. $17 million in profit. “It feels like jumping off a plane with no parachute and figuring out how to pull it on the way down.”

Three companies,

- Age 26
Starts Prestige Labs, a supplement line sold through the gyms. $1.8 million in its first month.
- Then
Builds ALAN, software that works leads automatically. The lesson from building it fast: “fixing mistakes takes longer than doing it right the first time.”
- 2021
Sells Gym Launch and Prestige Labs to a private equity sponsor and ALAN to a strategic buyer. Crosses a $100 million net worth at 29.

Co-founds Acquisition.com with Alex: a growth partner that leads with work, brand and capital, built to do right by the customer, the business and the employee.
